Uploading files to DCG West's Art FTP server

Uploading files from either your Macintosh or Windows computer to our FTP server is an easy, quick, and efficient way to deliver your project files to us. Following the guidelines below will help ensure a trouble free transfer.

Files can be uploaded to our FTP server using either a web browser or dedicated FTP client. If you are using a dedicated FTP client, we recommend using Transmit (http://www.panic.com/transmit) for the Macintosh, or CuteFTP (www.cuteftp.com/cuteftp) for Windows.

First, make sure you have compressed your files into a single stuffed or zipped file. Give this file a short but descriptive name--for example, you can use your name, your sales rep's name, project title, etc. This enables us to identify who sent the file. Leave the folder window containing the file to be transferred open on the desktop.

USING A WEB BROWSER TO UPLOAD FILES:

Our FTP server is configured to allow easy uploading of files using a Web browser (Firefox, Windows Explorer).

Using the "BROWSE" button, find your zipped or stuffed file you wish to upload, select it and "Begin Upload".
